PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending die having a stick-shaped ID tag within a fitting recessed part formed in a metallic die body. SOLUTION: A bending die to be used for a folding machine to fold a work has a fitting recessed part 9 to fit an ID tag 7 on outer surfaces of die bodies 1B and 3C in the bending die, and also has the ID tag 7 within the fitting recessed part 9 in a non-contact manner with the die bodies 1B and 3C so as to form a magnetic field generation area of the ID tag 7. The ID tag 7 is fitted to the fitting recessed part 9 via a tag holder. The fitting recessed part 9 is a groove formed in at least one of a front face or a rear face of the die body, and the groove is opened to the side surface of the die body.
