COMPOSITION OF BOARDS FOR PACKING BOX USING SAWDUST, TALC, STARCH, AND WATER REPELLENT AND PREPARATION METHOD OF BOARDS

PURPOSE: A composition of board for a packing box and a preparation method of the boards are provided to have a good water resistance and formability and to be similar to wooden boards in strength. CONSTITUTION: The boards composition for a packing box comprises 80 to 86 wt.% of sawdust; 5 to 6 wt.% of talc; 5 to 10 wt.% of starch; and 4 wt.% of water repellent. The sawdust has a particle size of 100 to 200 meshes. The preparation method of the boards comprises the steps of: drying the moisture contained in the sawdust completely by passing a microwave; mixing the sawdust, talc, starch and water repellent and stirring it; forming determined boards by pressing at a high temperature; and drying the boards naturally.
