PURPOSE: An antenna matching conversion device is provided to automatically convert a variable matching circuit into a matching value adjusted to transmitting/receiving modes, thereby obtaining optimum receiving sensitivity for each mode while reducing a mounting size. CONSTITUTION: A controller(310) senses a currently communicated frequency, and outputs a mode select signal in accordance with the sensed frequency. A variable matching circuit(340) matches voltage standing wave ratios to be optimal for a transmitting mode or a receiving mode according to the mode select signal. An antenna(350) performs wireless communication between a base station and a terminal in connection with the variable matching circuit(340).
