The frame (2) is fixed to the roof (3) of a building round an opening (4) and is fitted with two sliding panels (15, 16) that are moved apart and together, e.g. by a power cylinder, with a rack and pinion (13) mechanism at each side to ensure their simultaneous movement relative to a transverse centre line (17). The fixed frame can be equipped with rollers to interact with sliders on the moving panels for ease of movement. |
