PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial transmission cable capable of sharply restraining high-frequency signal transmission loss by using a technique of forming a glass-metal seal. SOLUTION: A supporting structure of the coaxial high-frequency transmission cable utilizes a locking mechanism 12, dielectric glass beads 13 surrounding a central conductor 14 on which a tapered part is formed, a released area 11 housing excessive glass from the dielectric glass beads 13, and split beads 9, 10 having conductivity formed by combining a substance divided in axial direction. A glass-metal seal forming device controls the position of the glass relative to the tapered part of the central conductor 14 with high precision. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
