<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly versatile reservation system for a beauty salon or the like, which enables a customer to easily and quickly confirm whether a hair style in a collection of samples suits the customer or not and enables the beauty salon to easily and quickly recognize a hair style desired by the customer, in advance and enables the customer to make reservations for hair cutting or the like even during non-business hours of the beauty salon or the like, and a method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The customer photographs his or her face by a mobile phone 10 with a camera and transmits the face photograph and a cut number added to his or her desired cut in a collection 20 of cut samples, to a beauty salon reservation system center 30. The beauty salon reservation system center 30 combines the face photograph and a cut image corresponding to the cut number and transmits a composited image to the mobile phone 10 with a camera. When being satisfied with the synthesized image, the customer transmits reservation information from the mobile phone 10 to the beauty salon reservation system center 30.
