PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power seat of which the assembly is easy, and of which the cost is low as well in the seat of a vehicle. SOLUTION: A bracket 275 has a first bracket 277 which has a first surface 277a, and a second bracket 279 which has a second surface 279a and is a separate body from the first bracket 277. The bracket 275 comprises an arm section 281 which is provided on the first bracket 277 and is extended to the second bracket 279 along the side section of a gear box 253, a slit 281a which is provided on the arm section 281 of the first bracket 277 and is long in the axial direction of a threaded rod 261, and a hole 279d which is provided on the second bracket 279 and is confronted with the slit 281a. Also, for the bracket 275, the first bracket 277 and the second bracket 279 are integrated by a pin 283 (locking means) which is made to pass through the slit 281a and the hole 279d and caulked.
