PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an innovative electrophotographic transfer paper like photographic printing paper in which toner fixability is excellent and its white-paper gloss and the gloss of image parts after printing are similar to those of a photograph on printing paper. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic transfer paper in which a coating layer is formed on base paper, three or more parts by mass of thermally expansive microcapsule is blended in 100 parts by mass of the pigment of the coating layer, and the coating layer is cast-processed to impart gloss to the layer. In addition, it is preferable that the white-paper gloss of a gloss layer is 70% or more in 75-degree relative-specular glossiness based on JIS P-8142. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
