<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent noise deriving from impurities, to prevent an electrode on a substrate from being peeled off, to provide a weak light detector for cooling a circuit appropriately, and to provide a weak light detector for measuring the number of photons. <P>SOLUTION: The weak light detector includes an ultraviolet transmission substrate having an integration type reading circuit including a photo detection means.
