PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate resin powder excellent in heat resistance and rigidity and having a particle size within a specific range. SOLUTION: The polycarbonate resin powder is composed of a polycarbonate copolymer comprising an aromatic dihydroxy component containing 5-95 mol% of a fluorene-based bisphenol represented by general formula [1] and 95-5 mol% of a dihydroxy component represented by general formula [2], and meets the following requirements: (1) The total amount of the powder which passes through a 4-mesh sieve but remains on a 60-mesh sieve is at least 90%; (2) The bulk density is 0.2-0.5 g/cc; and (3) The specific surface area is 0.05-1.5 m<SP>2</SP>/g. In general formula [1], R<SP>1</SP>-R<SP>4</SP>are each independently a hydrogen atom, an optionally aromatic group-containing 1-9C hydrocarbon group or a halogen atom. In general formula [2], R<SP>5</SP>-R<SP>8</SP>are each independently a hydrogen atom, an optionally aromatic group-containing 1-9C hydrocarbon group or a halogen atom; W is a single bond, an optionally aromatic group-containing 1-20C hydrocarbon group, O, S, SO, SO<SB>2</SB>, CO or a COO group.
