PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing device capable of estimating information similar to that attracting interest of a user and presenting individual information, which may attract user's interest with high possibility, to the user. SOLUTION: This information providing device 100 includes a receipt part 102 receiving the individual information, a positional data generation part 110 acquiring a characteristic vector of the individual information, and an information space model storage part 106 storing a predetermined information space model. The characteristic vector is represented by points inside the information space. The information providing device 100 also includes a user interface part 104 used by the user for designating the individual information received by the receipt part 102, an interest space creation part 118 creating an interest space constructed of a partial space in which density of the points representing the designated individual information satisfies a predetermined condition, and an information selection part 122 selecting the individual information matching the points included in the interest space for presenting it to the user via the user interface part 104.
