PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine driven working machine with a moving handle which is compactly foldable in no use and which is usable for protecting objects mounted on a frame from coming into contact with other objects. SOLUTION: The moving handle 89 consists of a pair of right and left handle bars 88, 88 each having a handle grip 93 at the front end and a cross member 89 for integrally connecting the handle bars 88, 88 at their intermediate portions to each other. Both handle bars 88, 88 are mounted on the upper parts of right and left side frames 2a, 2b of the frame 2 so that both handle bars 88, 88 can be turned between a working position A where they extend out of the frame 2 and a storage position B where they function as bumpers in cooperation with the cross member 89 with the handle grip 93 turned downward.
