<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device and an optical disk device in which at least either of thinning the device or miniaturizing the device can be realized even when the device is made to cope with lasers of various wavelength including blue laser. <P>SOLUTION: The device is provided with a first optical unit emitting light of a first wavelength, a second optical unit emitting a plurality of light beams having longer wavelength than the first wavelength, a light receiving means receiving the light reflected by an optical disk 1, a correcting means correcting spherical aberration of the first wavelength, an optical means guiding the light of the first wavelength and the light of longer wavelength than the first wavelength to nearly same optical path, and a converging means converging the light from the optical means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
