PURPOSE:To prevent the occurence of color shear, by making it easy to index a seal- sticking position of a belt-type multicolor printer, and by sticking a seal on a film base to be employed in a subsequent printing unit, on the basis of a preceding seal- sticking position, as a reference. CONSTITUTION:Rolled paper is set on a first belt-stretching mechanism comprising a plate cylinder and a regulation cylinder, and a seal-sticking position is indexed on said rolled paper. Then, a film base is set round on a second belt-stretching mechanism which has the same measurement with the first belt-stretching mechanism and is disposed in displacement at a prescribed angle. Next, the indexed position on the rolled paper is projected on a film base through a half mirror, while a seal is stuck on the film base at the indexed position projected thereon. Moreover, in the second belt- stretching mechanism, a first color item is printed on continuous paper by using the film base with a seal stuck thereon, and then this continuous paper is set on the first belt-stretching mechanism. Meanwhile, another film base is set on the second belt- stretching mechanism, the print position of the first color item on said continuous paper is projected on the film base for printing a second color item through the half mirror, and a seal is stuck on a position whereon the print position of the first color item is projected. |
