<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oral prophylactic and ameliorating agent for wrinkle formation readily ingestible over a long period and having excellent wrinkle ameliorating effects by oral ingestion. <P>SOLUTION: This oral prophylactic and ameliorating agent for wrinkle formation comprises an isoflavone glycoside as an active ingredient. In the prophylactic and ameliorating agent, the isoflavone glycoside is especially a 70% ethanol extract from soybeans and the content in the agent is especially 8-15 wt.%. The daily oral intake is especially 8-80 mg. For example, daidzin, genistin or glycitin is cited as the isoflavone glycoside.
