PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door monitoring method having protections against various crimes such as breaking of door, ambush by stocker, or a house-breaker while in bed. SOLUTION: Movement of a thumb turn, door opening and closing, vibration of door, whether the operation coincides with a set mode are monitored by the monitoring device installed at the upper side of the thumb turn and an alarm or warning signal is given if any abnormality is detected. All the parts other than those corresponding to the sensors are built in the main body to perform the installation and movement more easily. Also, an intimidation buzzer can be activated when an impact is given to the door and thus correspondence to an outsider at the entrance or during coming home can be carried out without anxiety.
