<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a magnetic ferrite having the property that the frequency at which the loss component μ" rapidly increases is ≥1 GHz; and to provide a magnetic element using the magnetic ferrite and capable of being used at a frequency of ≥1 GHz. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic ferrite contains iron oxide, cobalt oxide and zinc oxide as main components, and any of titanium, tantalum, indium, zirconium, lithium, tin and vanadium as a sub-component, and exhibits excellent performance in GHz band.
