<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the movement of a hood in an approximately horizontal direction at the time of a vehicle collision without increasing the weight by the increasing of rigidity of a hood lifting up means. <P>SOLUTION: Even when the hood 20 is placed under a lift-up state, the lower end section 60D of a hook 60 which is fixed to a hood inner panel 23 of the hood 20 is inserted in an apron upper member 30 through a notch 64 which is formed on the upper wall section 30B of the apron upper member 30.
