PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery not breaking the electrode group even if dropped down. SOLUTION: The battery 40 is equipped with the electrode group 41, current collectors 42, 43, an insulating member 44, pole posts 45, 46, a case 47, a cover 48, sealing members 49A, 49B, 50A, 50B, and screws 52A, 52B. The case 47 houses the electrode group 41, the current collectors 42, 43, the insulating member 44, and parts of the posts 45, 46 . The current collector 42 is connected to a positive electrode 41A of the electrode group 41 with an adhesion part 41C, the current collector 43 is connected to a negative electrode 41B of the electrode group 41 with an adhesion part 41D. The insulating member 44 is inserted between a flat plate part 421A of the current collector 42 and the electrode group 41 and between a flat plate part 431A of the current collector 42 and the electrode group 41.
