<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse voltage generator which instantly switches from a direct current output state to a normal pulse output state without a distorted waveform or drift with a simple construction. <P>SOLUTION: The pulse voltage generator 10 consists of an optical pulse generating part 1 to output an optical pulse signal, an EA type optical modulator 3 connected to the optical pulse generating part 1 and instantly switching between transmission and absorption of the optical pulse signal and a photoelectric converter 7 connected to the EA type optical modulator 3, converting the optical pulse signal passed through the EA type optical modulator 3 into an electric pulse signal and outputting it, wherein a normal pulse signal without the distorted waveform or the drift is instantly outputted in conjunction with open and close of a switch 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
