PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for restricting photographing by a mobile terminal camera, which can restrict use of a camera mounted on a mobile terminal in a specific area. SOLUTION: The method for restricting photographing by a mobile terminal camera comprises a stage of transmitting a flag to a mobile terminal from a system when the terminal enters an area where photographing is prohibited, a stage that the terminal which has received the flag restricts its photographing function, and a stage of removing the restriction when the terminal has left the prohibited area.
