NETWORK-LIKE SWITCHING METHOD AND NETWORK-LIKE SWITCHING APPARATUS IN WAVELENGTH MULTIPLEXING COMMUNICATION NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make possible stable network-like switching at all the time by confirming normality of a switching destination not to switch an optical node including an optical channel terminal point when the switching destination is abnormal.

SOLUTION: In the present invention, in the case of network-like switching, exchange setting of a path in a node that includes an optical channel connection point of a switching destination on an optical channel is performed and after it is confirmed that exchange setting of the path is normally completed, the path in a node that includes both optical channel terminal points is switched.
