<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio-controlled clock for receiving a standard time radio wave signal with high sensitivity even if a loop antenna having directivity as a reception antenna is used. <P>SOLUTION: The radio-controlled clock is provided with a second hand drive system for driving a second hand; an hour/minute hand drive system for driving hour/minute hands; a clock body section; a coreless loop antenna 1101 arranged rotatably at the clock body section; a long wave reception circuit for receiving the standard time radio wave signal via the loop antenna 1101; an antenna rotation section 1104 for rotating the loop antenna 1101 at a position, where the long wave reception circuit can receive the standard time radio wave signal; and a control circuit for correcting display time by driving the second hand drive system and the hour/minute hand drive system, based on the standard time radio wave signal received by the long wave reception circuit 1104 via the loop antenna 1101. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
