摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brazing method using a brazing filler metal of Cu-Sn-Ni-P alloy which is capable of obtaining an excellent brazed state without using any flux. SOLUTION: In the brazing method to braze members 112 and 114 formed of copper or copper alloy, a brazing filler metal formed of Cu-Sn-Ni-P is provided on an abutting part between the members 112 and 114, reducing gas is introduced in a brazing furnace, and brazing is performed at the temperature of 600-800°C in the brazing furnace. Hydrogen is favorable for the reducing gas. The brazing method may be favorably used for a heat exchanger 100 which must be brazed in an airtight manner. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
