PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new low/high speed switch gear device which is switched to a high/low speed by giving a motor a normal rotation command or a reverse rotation command. SOLUTION: The low/high speed switch gear device operated by a reversible motor comprises a drive gear fixed unrotatably to a drive shaft rotated normally/reversely by the reversible motor, a low speed side first transmission gear and an idler gear meshed with the drive gear, a low speed side second transmission gear movably supported by the low speed side first transmission gear through a low speed side one-way bearing and a low speed side center shaft, a high speed side first transmission gear meshed with the idler gear, a high speed side second transmission gear movably supported by the high speed side first transmission gear through a high speed side one-way bearing and a high speed side center shaft, and a driven gear fastened unrotatably to a driven shaft and meshed with the low speed side second transmission gear and the high speed side second transmission gear.
