<p>Each nodal point (1) has a small diameter vertical tube sealed at the bottom by a baseplate (8). Four vertical walls (5) come together at each node. Each wall has two arcuate portions meeting at an angle midway between a pair of nodes, and the walls define rosette shapes (2) and star shapes (3). There are flanges (17.1) projecting into the star shapes and narrow flanges (17.2) projecting into the rosette shapes. There are reinforcing fillets (16) at the meeting of the arcuate wall portions and (18) at the nodal points.</p> |
