PURPOSE: A method for controlling dehydration in drum-type washing machine is provided to reduce vibration of a tub in detecting amount of the laundry by loosening and dispersing equally the laundry and to decrease noise and walking by preventing a cabinet from being bitted by vibration of the tub. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling dehydration in drum-type washing machine executes the laundry loosening agitation step for equally dispersing the laundry before detecting amount of the laundry(S401). In the laundry loosening agitation step, a drum in which the laundry is contained is agitated from side to side and rotated more than once. RPM(Revolution Per Minute) of the washing machine for the laundry loosening agitation step is lower than RPM for the laundry amount detecting step. |
