The method for the manufacture of a cone ring (1) entails the applying of a first friction lining (5) of a first material onto a first surface (3) of a flat support ring (2), the shaping of the flat support ring into a cone ring, and applying a second friction lining (6) of a second material onto the formed second conical surface (4) of the support ring.
