PURPOSE: To provide a carbon source supplier using ultrasound for generating a carbon source using excess sludge, and a method for treating wastewater with the carbon source supplier using ultrasound. CONSTITUTION: A carbon source supplier using ultrasound for generating a carbon source using excess sludge comprises: plural ultrasound terminals(1) installed on the outer circumferential surface of a pipeline type module body(2) with being spaced from one another in a certain distance; a bracket(4) on which one or more of the pipeline type module bodies are mounted, and which is attached to a module support(5); an input pipe into which excess sludge flows, and which is installed on a lower part of the body; an ultrasonic generator(12) connected to the lower part of the body such that ultrasound is generated from the ultrasound terminals; and a pipe(3) which is connected to an upper part of the body, and from which an ultrasound treated sludge carbon source is discharged, wherein plural of the ultrasound terminals are vertically disposed in a certain angle with being spaced from one another on the same horizontal line of the outer circumferential surface of the pipeline type module body.
