PURPOSE: A car audio system is provided to allow a user to easily find a desired file using a file name the user has recorded. CONSTITUTION: A car audio system that decodes MP3 audio data stored in CD title to reproduce the audio data includes a display(40) for displaying the operation state of the audio system and the file name of the audio data, a folder search key(26) for searching folders stored in the CD title, and a file search key(24) for searching audio data stored in the CD title. The car audio system further includes a marking key(28) for selecting a desired song title from the audio data stored in the CD title to store the selected song title and displaying only the selected song title, a WMA decoder(54) for decoding a WMA file to reproduce the file, and an AAC decoder(56) for decoding an AAC file to reproduce the file.
