PURPOSE: A method for expressing emotions by using a vibration device of a mobile communication terminal and the mobile communication terminal therefor are provided to recognize words showing a user's feeling, which are included in a text sentence, when a message is displayed, thereby expressing the recognized words through vibrations. CONSTITUTION: When a user logs in, an instant messenger module of a mobile communication terminal is driven(S101). When a text is received from other party through the instant messenger module(S102), a message processing module decides whether a character string expressing the user's emotions is included in the received text(S103). If so, the message processing module controls a vibration device of the terminal so as to be driven with vibration information(S104). The message processing module recognizes the vibration information corresponding to words showing the user's emotions, and commands the vibration device or a controller to be driven according to the recognized information(S105).
