摘要 PURPOSE: A stacked-type magnetic thin film having a magnetic anisotropic control system for magnetic recording is provided to supply a stacked-type magnetic recording medium comprising two separated magnetic layers, so that a lower magnetic layer has lower magnetic anisotropy than an upper magnetic layer, thereby reducing a magnetic pulse width while improving an overwrite property. CONSTITUTION: An upper ferromagnetic layer(36) has the first magnetic anisotropy, and is nearest to a surface of a thin film magnetic recording medium. A lower ferromagnetic layer(38) has lower second magnetic anisotropy than the first magnetic anisotropy as much as selected amount to compensate for a low magnetic field from a magnetic recording head owing to a long distance between the magnetic recording head and the lower ferromagnetic layer(38). A non-magnetic spacer layer(37) separates the upper ferromagnetic layer(36) from the lower ferromagnetic layer(38).
