INSTALLATION FAILURE INSPECTION METHOD OF AN AIR CONDITIONER FOR CHECKING A DEFECT OF A DRAIN PIPE OF AN INDOOR DEVICE WITH LOW DRAIN POSITION

PURPOSE: An installation failure inspection method of an air conditioner is provided to test an installation defect with drain position lower than the other indoor devices by checking the water level change of the condensate of the turned-off indoor device while only one indoor device is turned off and the other indoor devices are operated. CONSTITUTION: An installation failure inspection method of an air conditioner discharging the condensate by connecting a plurality of indoor devices(104) by a single drain pipe is composed of steps for turning off only one center indoor device of plural indoor devices and operating the other indoor devices for a pre-set time and judging a defect of the drain position of the turned-off indoor device by the water level change of the condensate of the turned-off indoor device. The installation failure inspection method judges that the drain position of the turned-off indoor device is lower than the other indoor devices if the condensate of the turned-off indoor device exceeds a pre-set water level for the set time.
