PURPOSE: An automatic ignition typed gas cutting machine is provided to maintain a lever for operating an opening and closing valve in a grip cover or to release the lever from the grip cover, to automatically hide an ignition device using the repulsive force of a spring, and to fix the lever in a grip while the lever is operated to supply high-pressure oxygen for cutting. CONSTITUTION: A double ignition device(30) is mounted in the lower portion of a head(8) where a cutting gas supply tube(42) is inserted. An ignition oxygen supply tube(43) for supplying ignition gas to the double ignition device is installed in the front face of an oxygen inlet chamber of which rear portion is closed with a cap. An operating tube(46) having an operating piece(47) and inserted to a grip cover(35) is combined to the outer part of an injecting tube(60) of the double ignition device. The operating tube is repulsed forward by a spring(49). A piezoelectric element(30) is connected with an ignition coil. An operating bar(32) for operating the piezoelectric element and an ignition device is prepared outside the piezoelectric element.
