PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of a tire while highly securing the residual strength of a cord and exerting excellent vibration and noise performance. SOLUTION: A band cord 10 is formed of a composite cord in which a first strand 10A made of a polyethylene-2,6 naphthalate fiber and firstly twisted, and a second strand 10B made of other organic fibers and firstly twisted in the same direction are finally twisted in the opposite direction of the first twist.
