PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing box for a rack-mounted apparatus which allows maintenance and wiring work of the apparatus to be done easily. SOLUTION: The housing box 1 for a rack-mounted apparatus comprises a main body 3 of the box which has an opening 2 in the front, a door 4 which freely opens and closes the opening 2 of the main body 3 of the box, a mount angle 6 which is arranged inside the main body 3 of the box and supports an apparatus 5, and a fixing member 7 which supports the mount angle 6 so that it can be moved back and forth and which fixes the mount angle 6 to the main body 3 of the box. The mount angle 6 and the fixing member 7 are formed into nearly a U-shaped form and are so structured that the fixing member 7 is inserted into the mount angle 6. Knurled screws 31 are inserted into slots 27 formed in a side plate of the fixing member 7, and are screwed with the mount angle 6 to prevent the mount angle 6 from coming off when it is slid. Maintenance and wiring of the apparatus 5 are done with the mount angle 6 drawn out of the main body 3 of the box. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
