PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of reducing the power consumption and improving the energy saving effect by improving the power source efficiency in a light load state. SOLUTION: An oscillating method of switching IC (integrated circuit) 1 is changed from the continuous oscillation to the intermittent oscillation to improve the power source efficiency in the light load state such as fan motor driving IC 4, 5, heat-retention heater driving IC 6 and a display circuit part 7.
