PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner capable of inhibiting the abnormal leakage by a gas flow rate adjusting means, when the abnormality occurs on a valve mounted inside of a mouthpiece of a cartridge type gas cylinder, and the abnormal leakage of a gas is found. SOLUTION: In this gas burner 10 mounted on the gas cylinder 11 through the gas flow rate adjusting means 17, a gas flow channel cutoff valve 40 is mounted between a cylinder 18 and a spindle 25 through an O-ring 02 in a state that a tip of a spindle 25 of the gas flow rate adjusting means 17 is separated from a stem 28 of the gas cylinder 11. A stepped part 01 is formed at a lower end of the cylinder 18 in a state that its inner diameter is reduced, a groove 03 for fitting the O-ring 02 is formed on an outer periphery of the spindle 25 at a position corresponding to the stepped part 01, and the O-ring 02 is fitted to the groove 03 to constitute the gas flow channel cutoff valve 04.
