PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid for removing a make-up cosmetic, which has excellent compatibility with make-up stain, excellent rinsing properties and excellent sense of use. SOLUTION: The liquid for removing a make-up cosmetic comprises a polymer surfactant represented by formula (1) X-R-äO(C<SB>n</SB>H<SB>2n</SB>O)<SB>m</SB>H}<SB>y</SB>(X is a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group, an OC<SB>n</SB>H<SB>2n</SB>O<SB>z</SB>H group or an O(C<SB>n</SB>H<SB>2n</SB>O)<SB>z</SB>H group; R is a 12-200C hydrocarbon group containing three or more at least≥1C branched chains in the molecule; n is an integer of 2-4; m is an integer of 2-100; z is an integer of 2-100 and y is an integer of≤2).
