The drinks supply system includes a through flow meter installed in the drinks delivery system from the tap head and pipe to the tap stopcock. The meter is controlled by control means which can switch between the state of through flow for the drinks and through flow for the cleaning medium. An additional valve can be provided to stop the flow of drink so that when the meter is out of operation the supply of drinks between tap head and stopcock is blocked.
