PURPOSE: A system for diagnosing Helicobacter pylori using C-14 urea breath test is provided, thereby collecting the breath in a short time, and improving radiation detecting efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The system for diagnosing Helicobacter pylori using C-14 urea breath test comprises a breath collecting device and a radiation detecting device, wherein the breath collecting device comprises a crystal type carbon dioxide absorbing agent(3), an upper absorbing pad(2) and a lower absorbing pad(4) which are independently located on and under the carbon dioxide absorbing agent(3) to inhibit leakage of the carbon dioxide absorbing agent(3) and to absorb H2O produced by reaction of carbon dioxide and the agent, a counter-current inhibiting sponge(1) which is located on the upper absorbing pad(2), and a tube type collecting filter(100) which consists of a beta-radiation penetrating membrane(5) containing an upper stopper(8) and a lower stopper(9) to seal an inlet(6) and outlet(7) of the breath, and measures radiation emitted from C-14; and the radiation detecting device comprises an outer casing, an inner conducting wire, a gas inlet and a gas outlet to maintain the inner pressure of the radiation detecting device at the atmospheric pressure, and a groove for fixing the collecting filter.
