<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a helical scan type magnetic tape controller capable of adjusting tracking linearity with high accuracy by correcting a lead shape. <P>SOLUTION: The helical scan type magnetic tape controller has a rotary drum on which a magnetic head is mounted, a stationary drum on which the rotary drum is rotatably mounted, a stationary drum mounting member which has a stationary drum mounting surface and fixes the stationary drum to the stationary drum mounting surface in contact therewith, and one or a plurality of first screws. The stationary drum has one or a plurality of screw mounting sections which are disposed on the outer side of the outer periphery inclusive of its magnetic tape travel surface and respectively have one or a plurality of first screw mounting holes. The first screw is attached into the first screw mounting hole and its tip abuts on the stationary drum mounting surface or the surface of the stationary drum mounting member existing on substantially the same side or faces the same through a clearance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
