PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraelastic material with low hardness after being annealed and satisfactory in workability, further excellent in ultraelastic properties, and used for a spectacles frame or the like. SOLUTION: An ultraelastic material of an Ni-Ti-X ternary system containing one or more kinds selected from among Co, Fe, V and Cr as the third component X is used, wherein the As transformation point in the solution-treated material is -45 to -25°C.
