PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin-type heating implement having excellent flexibility and wearing property to the body and applicable to various uses. SOLUTION: This heating implement is mainly composed of a heating body 4 comprising a heating element 2 and a gas permeable storage body 3 for storing the heating element 2, and has an insertion part for inserting a part of the body. The heating element 2 is formed of a sheet formed by a paper making process including oxidizable metal, a water retaining agent and a fibrous material. It is preferable that the content of components other than the fibrous material included in the sheet formed by the paper making process is 50 wt% or more and that the CSF of the fibrous material is 600 ml or less.
