PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a molded product with high heat efficiency without wastefully discharging the heat energy of a medium heated to a high temperature and to perform efficient production by cooling a mold rapidly to shorten the molding time of the molded product. SOLUTION: In this mold temperature regulating method for molding a synthetic resin, a heating medium or a cooling medium is supplied to the medium passage B formed to the mold M for molding the synthetic resin to perform a heating process or a cooling process and at least the heating medium is circulated between a mold temperature regulating machine 1 and the mold M in the heating process, fluids of the same kind are used as the heating medium and the cooling medium and, when the heating process is changed over to the cooling medium, the heating medium is converted to the cooling medium on the inlet side of the medium passage B of the mold M1 and a medium flow is subsequently changed over to a cooling unit 2 from the mold temperature regulating machine outlet side of the medium passage B so as to be delayed temporally to perform the cooling process.
