PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a bathroom accident having a high degree of danger for a person in the bathroom from being left for a long time to make the accident damage serious by enabling the rapid execution of announcement of the occurrence of the bathroom accident to the outside of the bathroom. SOLUTION: A device for detecting a behavior in the bathroom comprises a sensor part, a signal processing circuit, a control part, a bathroom inner warning generation part, and a bathroom outer announcement generation part. After starting a monitoring by the sensor part, the signal processing circuit performs determination of the degree of importance based on the output of the sensor part. When the necessity of an immediate rescue is determined with a high degree of danger and high emergency, the announcement is immediately performed to the outside of the bathroom. When the degree of danger and the emergency are not high, it is determined whether or not a warning is given into the bathroom, and when the warning is necessary, the warning is given to the person in the bathroom. When the person in the bathroom does not react even if the warning is performed a regulated number of frequency based on the degree of danger, the announcement to the outside of the bathroom is executed.
