PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a uniaxially drawn flat yarn of a heat-weldable biodegradable plastic material, a biodegradable cloth and a biodegradable sheet having high slipperiness to improve productivity and resistant to skewed tearing. SOLUTION: The biodegradable flat yarn 1 is composed of a tape made of a biodegradable aliphatic polyester, drawn in one direction and having a plurality of longitudinally extending ridges 6. The biodegradable cloth is produced by weaving the biodegradable flat yarn 1, and the biodegradable sheet is produced by laminating films made of the biodegradable aliphatic polyester.
