A liquid type fuel cell system includes: a liquid type fuel cell unit (1) fo r outputting a first voltage; a boosting circuit (8) for boosting the first voltage (Vin) outputted from the liquid type fuel cell unit (1) and supplyin g a second voltage (Vout) boosted to an electronic device; and a first control circuit (91). The first control circuit (91) compares the first voltage (Vin ) outputted from the liquid type fuel cell unit (1) to a preset first threshol d voltage (Vcont) and according to the comparison result, controls the boostin g circuit (8) so that the first voltage (Vin) is not lower than the first threshold value (Vcont) or the first voltage (Vin) maintains the first threshold voltage (Vcont) or above.
