<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an operability by separately configuring a device which issues a medium such as a passbook certificate and a device which applies a printing processing to the medium. <P>SOLUTION: This system is provided with: a host which manages the account information of a user, and transmits a medium issue instruction and the classification information of the medium and print information; a plurality of storing parts for each of different kinds of media; a part which reads and writes the magnetic information of the medium; a medium issuing device having a control part which selects the storing part of the target medium based on the classification information of the medium to be issued transmitted from the host; a magnetic stripe reading/writing part which reads or writes information written in the medium feeded from the medium issuing device; a printing part which prints print information transmitted from the host in the medium; a memory which stores information associated with the medium transmitted from the host; and a deciding means which collates the classification information of the medium acquired from the magnetic stripe reading part with the classification information stored in the memory, and decides the validity/invalidity of the accepted medium.
