ELECTRIC DUST COLLECTING UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent adhering of dust to a suction grille by releasing static electricity charged to the suction grille.

SOLUTION: This electric dust collecting unit is provided with the suction grille 4 having discharging needles 3 provided for applying high voltage and a center part expanded toward the front side, and a filter unit 7 provided with a ground electrode 5 and a dust collecting filter 6 allowing air flow provided in a downstream side of the needles 3. The suction grille 4 is formed of nonconductive ribs 8 made of a nonconductive resin and conductive ribs 9 formed of a conductive resin disposed grille-like. By connecting the conductive ribs 9 to the ground electrode 5, static electricity charged to the suction grille 4 is released to prevent powder from adhering to the suction grille 4.
